Fall Outing Bike: Historic Sites in Tupper Lake (Fri #7)
This bike tour through Tupper Lake will include a stop at the Tupper Lake Historical Society Museum, as well as viewing natural and commercial sights. Tupper Lake has been known over the years for its recreation and natural beauty, as well as its lumber industry and the Sunmount sanatorium, opened in 1924 for veterans with tuberculosis. We will be riding on a mix of bike trail and village roads, so riders should have a whistle and wear bright colors or a vest for safety. The bike ride begins and ends at the Junction train station in Tupper Lake.
