Adirondack Mountain Club

We’ll put-in at the Follensby Clear Pond boat launch, and make a 4-mile loop. We’ll paddle the length of Follensby Clear Pond with a short carry (208 yards) to Pollywog. Another short carry (144 yards) to Little Pollywog, through Horseshoe Pond, and lastly a third short carry (61 yards) back to Follensby Clear Pond. Three carries total approximately one-quarter of a mile. Participants should be able to carry their own canoes on the portages.
