Fall Outing: Architectural and Historical Tour of Young Life Camp (Fri #13)
The Saranac Village Young Life camp, originally known as Prospect Point Camp, is an Adirondack Great Camp listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by William L. Coulter and built in 1903, it was notable for its three-story main lodge and what was once the largest boathouse on Upper Saranac Lake. This walking tour will include the buildings and history from a private estate to a retreat for hundreds of high school students.
