We’ll launch canoes into Bog River at Lows Lower Dam and paddle up the river into Hitchen's Pond. From the beach at the far end of the pond, we can hike the one mile trail for great views from Lows Ridge. Then we'll return the way we came.
Meeting place: Young Life Campus lodge dining room
Travel distance: Caravan 24 miles from campus to the boat launch
Trip rating: Class C+ (Fairly Easy)
Trip distance: 6 miles paddling and 2 miles hiking; 360’ elevation gain
Maximum group size: 12
