This hike visits three small ponds in the Sentinel Range Wilderness area with some good views of Whiteface as well as other surrounding peaks. We will start the hike at a parking lot on Route 86 and walk uphill to Owen, Copperas, and Winch ponds before retracing our path.

Travel distance: Caravan 33 miles from campus to the trailhead

Trip distance: 3.5 miles round trip; 600’ elevation gain
